Hey guys, hope you’re all having an amazing Sunday! In today’s post, I’m going to share my opinion on the Clinique ‘blackhead solution’ product line.
I suffered from bad acne all through middle and high school and could never find good working products I liked, that didn’t irritate my sensitive skin and which actually helped me get rid of acne and other issues. Then in 11th grade (so about a year ago) I started using the Clinique products and I can honestly say, they saved my skin from puberty and its scars. The Clinique blackhead solutions line exists out of 2 products, the Blackhead Solutions 7 Day Deep Pore Cleanse & Scrub and the Blackhead Solutions Self-Heating Blackhead Extractor, these are also part of a much bigger line the ‘Solutions line by Clinique’. The ‘7-day deep pore cleanse’ is a scrub, but you can also use it as a mask. It only takes 5 min and comes off super easily. The second product, the ‘self-heating blackhead extractor’, surprised me, to say the least. You apply it to dry and clean skin before adding some water to it. When I did that, I was taken by surprise by how quickly the self-heating process started. Let’s just say I didn’t see it coming. I was also surprised by how gently the applicator felt on my skin and loved how easy the entire process was.
I want to address that this is the first time a product made to ‘supposedly’ reduce blackheads has actually worked for me. I also didn’t have any irritations or suffered from any extra redness, so don’t worry if you suffer from sensitive skin, as I do. I think after reading this you already know how I feel about this product, but if you didn’t notice yet, I LOVE IT!
